So, after I posted on Monday, I received the following in my inbox from someone named Barbara:

Could you please do me a favour? My boyfriend listens to your station. Could
you record me this following message for me to give to him and email me it
as an mp3 or wav file? Please please?
Also mention that it is you reading it for him and your station. For
example.... (Hi Manuel this is _______ from Radio __________in _city_____
and I have a message for you.... )

Manuel, I love you with all my heart and I have changed for the better. I am
going to make you happy you have to trust me on this one. I have promised
you and promised myself. I love you and your stripey socks. I want all our
days to be happy together and to be paradise. Love you and miss you - Kris (italics and bold mine)

If you can do this for me I will be eternally grateful. Please send the mp3
or wav file to [email address suppressed].

I wrote her back, saying I would carry out her request, but as I was looking at the email again this afternoon, I noticed the discrepancy in names.

Hmmmmmm. I will still execute the request. Now I am very interested to see where this "love story" ends up.

Also, picked up Giant Drag's EP over @ Amazon for cheap. I am stoked to get it, as I have been listening to the two songs I have of theirs non-stop since I downloaded them. Plus, their About page is hilarious.
