Dystopia 07-17-05

Great show tonight. Started off with The Zambonis, a band that plays only hockey oriented music, a band I learned about via my boss, who is a goalie on the co-ed league in town. Then, of course, more stuff from SXSW. Topped off by some hidden tracks from Giant Drag .

I love these guys.

They are out of Orange County, CA. Hillarious "about"page. I cannot remember how I heard about them, but they were also featured @XSW. I bought their EP @ Amazon for cheap + emailed them. Learned their new album is due out in September, and that there are 2 hidden tracks on their about page -- one is a Beach Boys cover, the other is a Journey cover. Both hilarous.
